Day Two: Munch, Bras and Iraqis Swedes...

JB: Jason and I started our day at 12:30 PM (Oslo Time) and thought it was still morning, so our day started late. We had washed our clothes in the sink the night before and used body wash as soap, since the stores were closed and we needed to at least try to have clean clothes. My clothes were dry, Jason's were not completely, but we were hungry and went out to eat. We went to a place called Lorry, it was like a TGI Friday's, but with actual art. Jason had a cheese, ham and bacon thing and I had a burger. We split the two and shared, so we could both try the different food. There was a group of older women in the restaurant that were celebrating someone's birthday. They sang several different versions of Happy Birthday. We walked around Oslo and looked at buildings and art. We decided to go to the Edvard Munch museum, I really liked it, Jason only thought it was ok. At the museum, there was a sign that said that Edvard painted what be felt...Jason said all he painted was naked women...and a few men...I guess he was always horny...lol...I bought Jason and me a sweatshirt and light jacket from the museum, especially since we were going on a cruise and I knew it would be chilly...the temperature is like 65 here, you can see our new cloths in one of the photos...

As we walked around the city, we came across a shopping area. The shopping area was close to where we were going to catch a cruise. Jason's observation of the day was that everyone is very tall, blond and women don't wear bras...lol. As we walked around the shopping area, we saw a jelly fish and some random folks who were jumping off a boat and into the water, they are in the background of the photo immediately below this text...as I mentioned...it was very cold.

On the cruise, with an all you can eat shrimp buffet, we sat with some Iranians that immigrated to Sweden...it was an interesting conversation, I started the conversation and the one guy said that Americas are generally extroverted, lol...he said most Europeans are introverted, luckily one of us was able to start a conversation...the cruise was good...I tried shrimp again for Jason's sake...I still don't like shrimp...I took a few photos of the scenery from the cruise. Afterwards, we went back to the hotel room, washed our clothes again with body wash and went to sleep.

Jason II's Version:

Today was better than yesterday, we woke up at 12 and went out to a place that I picked it has a little museum kinda in it I got some cheese bread thing with bacon and ham that was delicious and dad just got a cheese burger. After eating we started to walk to the museum that had the scream in it I liked this one very detailed painting that I got a picture with and. After that we started to walk to the dock that had the "tour" that we going to go on we saw the Nobel peace prize building and took pictures. Then got on the tour and talked to these Iraqi Sweeds and told us about stuff in Sweden and we told them about the u.s. I had shrimp and it wasn't that bad but its not something that I will probably ever crave. We saw the Oslo fjord while eating shrimp and talking to Sweeds. It was a good boat ride. We then went back and still don't have our luggage so washed our clothes.
